IMEX 2017 - A Special Hosted Buyers' Soiree.
The Venetian leveraged its unique spaces and culinary partnerships. This is to create experiences for a select group of valued customers.
Unique Settings.
Encompassing a number of unique and smaller event spaces. Such as pool patios, lounges, and private dining rooms. Our many partnerships enable us to curate unique and interactive experiences. Partnerships include chefs, designers, spa service providers, and more.

A Hosted Buyers' event for IMEX attendees illustrates these capabilities. We wanted to give our customers a sense of how they could create memorable events. By combining non-traditional venues and interactive activities.

This event took place at Bouchon Bistro. Created by chef Thomas Keller's classic Parisian-style bistro. The venue opens onto an outdoor courtyard and the Venezia pool deck. With several stations serving a variety of gourmet menu options inside the restaurant. Plus, a cocktail station was set up in the outdoor space. Some furniture was removed and rearranged to create a lounge-like atmosphere. Porch lights were hung throughout the courtyard to create a special ambience.

To further engage attendees, we introduced evocative entertainment. Plus activities that complimented the romantic bistro setting. A serenading violinist crisscrossed the space. Poets composed verses for guests on old-fashioned typewriters. A bicyclist distributed fresh-baked baguettes. And guests were able to participate in dessert preparation.

The event was well received by the IMEX guests. When asked for specific feedback, many mentioned that they hadn't realized such a space existed. They were enthusiastic about the unique networking and entertainment opportunities it presented for smaller groups.
