The Venetian Resort Las Vegas Ushers In The Year Of The Fire Horse With Majestic Celebrations And Culinary Delights
LAS VEGAS (Jan. 29, 2026) — The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is celebrating Lunar New Year with a spectacular display honoring the Year of the Fire Horse, which begins on Feb. 17, 2026. The resort-wide celebration will feature a magnificent centerpiece sculpture, a traditional lion dance, and a host of culinary and cocktail specials.
THE WATERFALL ATRIUM AND GARDENS HORSE INSTALLATION
The centerpiece of the celebration, on display now, in The Waterfall Atrium and Gardens, is a custom-designed horse sculpture, standing an impressive 12 feet tall and weighing more than 2,000 pounds. The powerful statue, which took a team nine months to progress from concept to reality, was designed in consultation with a Feng Shui master to ensure a prosperous and auspicious new year.
Standing majestically atop a bed of gold coins, the Fire Horse is adorned with vibrant red and gold accessories, with lucky coins woven into its flowing mane. The stunning installation will be on display through the first week of March.
TRADITIONAL LION DANCE
The festivities will officially commence with a traditional Lion Dance, to bring good fortune and prosperity. The eye-dotting ceremony will begin at the entrance to The Venetian and conclude at The Palazzo Front Desk.
