HIMSS21 Conference Is Highlight of Fall Convention Season in Las Vegas
WHAT:
The 2021 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Global Health Conference & Exhibition will be the highlight of the fall convention season in Las Vegas and will signify the return of medical meetings to the United States. The prestigious conference, which annually hosts thousands of attendees from the healthcare information and management systems community, is the largest healthcare show and the 20th largest tradeshow in the nation.
“The August return of HIMSS Global Health Conference is a welcome sign that meetings and conventions have officially returned to The Venetian Resort and Las Vegas,” said Chandra Allison, senior vice president of sales for The Venetian Resort. “In an industry that has been so instrumental in leading the world out of the pandemic, it is encouraging to see that in-person meetings is the most effective way to carry on their mission.”
The conference and exhibition includes such components as the Healthcare Cybersecurity Forum, the Nursing Informatics Symposium, Physician’s Symposium, CIO Summit and new areas of exploration including the Clinically Integrated Supply Chain Symposium and the Global Health Equity Symposium.
