A critically acclaimed stand-up comedian and actor, Kumail Nanjiani is also a celebrated producer and writer, having earned nominations for an Oscar and Emmy and recently won a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Many fans know Kumail from his breakout role as ‘Dinesh’ in the Emmy-winning HBO comedy series Silicon Valley, but his recent work has garnered significant attention. He earned an Emmy nomination for his compelling portrayal of the Chippendales Founder in Hulu’s Welcome to Chippendales (which he also executive produced) and later won a SAG Award for his recurring role in the hit series Only Murders in the Building.
On the big screen, he can be seen in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, joining returning cast-members Paul Rudd and Carrie Coon. His extensive television credits also include Bless the Harts, The Twilight Zone, Portlandia, Community, and The X-Files.
Nanjiani continues to perform stand-up shows regularly at LA’s top venues and recently participated in the Netflix Is a Joke Festival.
