Chef Angelo, describes his concepts as a “journey to Italy with a local.” With this in mind, Matteo’s pays tribute to Northern Italy, where the two grew up. As a reality star of the hit series “Cake Boss,” Buddy Valastro has won the hearts of dessert-lovers. The baker’s first restaurant located in Grand Canal Shoppes, brings a menu of what Buddy calls, “New Jersey-style Italian." “My favorite dish to make is the linguini and clams, which is often found on the Buddy V’s menu,” he said. “We have a house on the bay at the Jersey shore and as you walk ten feet into the water, there are clams.
