Martin Amini is a stand-up comedian, born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, and currently based in Los Angeles. He crafts a unique and universally resonant brand of humor by drawing comedic inspiration from his diverse heritage.
With a Bolivian mother and an Iranian father, his multicultural background provides plenty of material for an engaging comedic experience. Beyond exploring his heritage, Martin’s shows often include hilarious and relatable commentary on relationships and his own marriage. In a unique interactive segment, he also occasionally plays matchmaker on stage, helping audience members find love amidst the laughter.
In 2024, Martin Amini released two stand-up comedy specials on YouTube, “I'm Transcending” and “Back in the Gym”, which was filmed in Room 808, a vibrant comedy club he founded in Washington, D.C.
