Iliza Shlesinger is one of today’s leading stand‑up comedians. Her seventh special, A Different Animal, premiered globally on Amazon Prime Video in March 2025, filmed at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City. Known for her high-energy, unfiltered storytelling, Iliza takes on modern relationships, expectations, and everyday absurdities.
She has also released six hit Netflix specials, including Hot Forever, Unveiled, War Paint, Freezing Hot, Confirmed Kills, and Elder Millennial. Her 2019 “fan‑u‑mentary,” Over & Over, gave viewers a behind‑the‑scenes look at her creative process and the passionate fan culture around her shows.
Beyond stand‑up, Iliza writes and acts for film and television. She will star in the 2026 Sundance‑premiering romantic dramedy Chasing Summer, and previously created and starred in Netflix’s Good On Paper. Iliza is the author of two books—All Things Aside (2023) and Girl Logic (2017)—both collections of sharp, comedic essays. She also hosts the advice podcast AIA: Ask Iliza Anything, where she shares her humorous and candid takes on listener questions.
