John Rzeznik and Robby Takac formed the Goo Goo Dolls in Buffalo, NY, in 1986. Throughout a career spanning more than three decades, the band has influenced popular music and established multiple tracks as staples of American music.

Their hit single “Iris” spent 18 consecutive weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 and earned the distinction of “#1 Top 40 Song of the Last 20 Years.” After gaining significant traction on TikTok, the song reached seven-times-platinum status and returned to the Billboard charts, illustrating the continued relevance of the band's catalog.
