Atsuko Okatsuka has established herself as a global comedy figure through her distinct humor and high-energy performances.

Atsuko Okatsuka’s second stand-up special, Father, premiered on Hulu and Disney+ in June 2025. This followed her HBO debut, The Intruder, which The New York Times recognized as the “Best Debut Special of 2022.” These projects helped grow her international following and led to her 2024–2025 Full Grown tour, where she sold out over 200 shows in more than 20 countries.
Okatsuka also maintains an active career in film and television. She features in the Tribeca Film Festival selections All That We Love and Group Therapy and recently completed work on the Apple+ film Outcome, with Jonah Hill and Keanu Reeves. Atsuko made her Pixar debut voicing a character in the film Elio. Online, Okatsuka created the viral #DropChallenge and collaborated on the revival of Beyoncé’s “Partition.”
Her industry honors include a 2023 Gracie Award for “Best Special” and accolades from Variety and Vulture. She’s appeared in numerous credits, sharing her inspiring immigrant story. Currently, she represents several major brands, contributes to Hulu’s Hularious comedy lineup, and continues to prove that humor has no borders.
